Poland to Czech Republic

A castle called Gyczyn (later became Jicin) was built here at Stary Jicin, in the early 1200s. During the Thirty Years War the castle suffered extensive damage and gradually fell into ruins. It is now an interesting walk with great views of the surrounding area. See the next album as we continue through the Czech Republic.
